Catherine Litka

Catherine (Williams) Litka, wife of the late Fred R. Litka, passed away on December 30, 2023, at Autumn Lake of New Britain. She was 92 years old. Born in Litchfield, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Cattey) Williams.
Catherine graduated from Litchfield High School and what is now Central Connecticut State University. She taught elementary school in Middletown and Cromwell for twenty-eight years. She loved to travel and was an avid golfer.
Catherine is survived by a daughter and son, Leslie Litka Ragaglia and her spouse Michael of Farmington and Karl E. Litka and his spouse Brian Frazier of Old Saybrook; a grandchild Shawn Ragaglia and three sisters, Mary McNamara of Allentown, PA, Rosemarie Mazzotta of Manchester, and Marguerite Neri of Morris.
Along with her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her son, Kurt E. Litka and her twin sister Frances Sikand.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 5th at 11:00 a.m. at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell. A burial will follow in Saint John Cemetery in Middletown. Family and friends may call on Friday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. before the service at the funeral home.
