Patricia Bartolotta

Teacher's Aide - Special Ed.

Patricia Ann (Martin) Bartolotta, 77, of Cromwell, wife of the late Sebastian A. Bartolotta, passed away on Saturday, May 21, at Middlesex Hospital.

Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Philip W. and Rose (Brouillett) Martin. Pat lived in Cromwell for over 50 years, was a member of St. John Church in Cromwell and was part of the church's Women's Guild and Mother's Circle. She was employed as a teacher's aide at Cromwell High School and was an administrative assistant at Wesleyan University. Pat could always be seen on the sidelines of her kids and grand kids sporting events and was an avid UConn women's basketball fan.

She is survived by four sons, Michael A. Bartolotta of Portland, Steven P. Bartolotta and his wife, Linda of Cromwell, James A. Bartolotta and his wife, Nancy of Wallingford and Joseph P. Bartolotta of N.C.; two daughters, Susan M. Philipchik and her husband, Donald of Portland and Elizabeth A. Marchinkoski and her husband, David of Cromwell; 16 grandchildren, William, Bethany, Christopher, Christopher, Matthew, Brian, Nicole, Jennifer, Katelyn, Kevin, Kyle, Nathan, Arden, Nicholas, Abby, and Alexandra; four great-grandchildren, Jaden, Kevin, Tyler, Mya, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by brother, Philip W. Martin III and her sister, Marilyn Merrow.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 25, at 9 a.m. from the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main St., Cromwell, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. John Church, 5 St. John Court, Cromwell. Interment will follow in the State Veterans Cemetery.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Cromwell Funeral Home and in lieu of flowers, may make donations in Pat's memory to Weiss Hospice Unit c/o Middlesex Hospital, 28 Crescent St., Middletown, CT 06457.
