Shirley Ahlberg Smithwick
KindergartenSMITHWICK, SHIRLEY, 80, of Vershire, [VT] died February 14, 2001. She was born in Middletown, CT, in 1920, to Eric and Nellie (Johnson) Ahlberg. She graduated from Middletown High School in Middletown, CT, and Connecticut State Teacher School at the University of Connecticut in 1942. She married Daniel G. Smithwick in 1965. They moved from Connecticut after retirement in 1978. Mrs. Smithwick was an elementary school teacher in Connecticut for many years. Survivors include her husband, three stepchildren and one brother.
