1992 - 2025


Abraham (AJ) of Middletown passed away suddenly at 33 yrs old. AJ’s life was cut short by opioid addiction at which he struggled with since he was 18 yrs. old . AJ was born on January 16, 1992 in Augusta, Georgia and moved to Connecticut at 6 months of age where he remained for the duration of his life. AJ was a 2010 graduate of Cromwell High School then he continued his education at Porter & Chester. AJ was an avid outdoorsman and loved working jobs that kept him outside whether it was roofing or landscaping. He loved sports and was quite the pitcher and catcher in baseball throughout his school years. In High School, he moved onto football as a receiver. Due to family military background, anything military, he would display the red, white and blue every chance he got.

Abraham leaves behind his mother Yvonne Vasquez of Manchester, a son Charles George Vasquez (Beaudry) of East Hartford, a sister Stephanie D’Ambrosio Buchas and her husband Will of Wethersfield, a sister Ruth Yarid Pereen and her husband Dave of Essex, Mass, a fiancé Emily Marie and their unborn daughter Georgia Marie, a step-mother Lisa Yarid Walsh of Rocky Hill as well as many aunts and uncles and cousins.

Abraham is predeceased by his father Charles George Yarid of FL, a sister Leda Yarid Stachowski of MA and all four of his grandparents.

Abraham was loved by many and will be sorely missed by all especially his mother whom she holds near and dear to her heart and always will.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave. Windsor, CT 06095
