Robert Varricchio
1971 - 2015
Robert Edward Varricchio, Jr., 44, of Cromwell, husband of Kelly (Robbins) Varricchio, passed away on September 24, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Born in Middletown, he was the son of Robert E. and Barbara (Caso) Varricchio, Sr. of Harrison, ME.
Rob worked for the railroad since 2007 and Cofiell's Sport and Power Equipment. He was a member of CSOR Division #521 and enjoyed snowmobiling, dirt bikes and racing jet skis.
Rob was a true down to earth man, who cared deeply for his family and friends.
Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by one son, Cole Ray-White Varricchio of Cromwell; one stepson, Keith Heinzmann of Cromwell; two stepdaughters, Ashley and Stephanie Heinzmann both of Cromwell; one sister, Edith Ryba and her husband Tom of Stafford Springs; three dear friends, Steve, Bob, and Kevin; many aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved dog, Sura.
Funeral services will be held at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street Cromwell on Tuesday, September 29th at 11:00 am. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and Tuesday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rob's memory may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
