Peter K. DiVicino, 41, of Glastonbury, beloved husband of Lori (Gray) DiVicino, passed away suddenly Saturday, (December 6, 2008) at home. Born in Middletown on April 5, 1967, he was the son of Claire DiVicino Hamill and Ronald DiVicino.
He was the owner of Specialized Construction Contractors, LLC.
Peter coached for both the Glastonbury Youth Football Association and the Glastonbury Basketball Association. Peter cared deeply for his employees and he treated them like family. He loved coaching and the kids meant everything to him.
Besides his wife, he leaves to mourn his passing his mother and stepfather, Claire and Jim Hamill of Glastonbury, three loving children, Kristi DiVicino of Cromwell, Allison DiVicino and Nicholas DiVicino, both of Glastonbury; a sister Mary Anne Anagnos of Glastonbury, and a brother, Joseph DiVicino of Cromwell, and his mother-in-law, Dorothy Gray of Holyoke, MA. He also leaves many nieces, nephews, dear family members, and close friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, December 11 at 10 a.m. at St. Dunstan Church, 1345 Manchester Rd., Glastonbury. Everyone is requested to go directly to church Thursday morning. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, Glastonbury. Calling hours will be Wednesday, December 10, from 4-7 p.m. at the Glastonbury Funeral Home, 450 New London Turnpike.
