Kerry G. Murphy of Cromwell died on Monday, June 24, 2024 at the age of 62 after a short illness. He was born on July 2, 1961 in Hartford, and attended Cromwell High School. Kerry was a lifelong resident of Cromwell and followed many interests including sketching and music. An avid heavy metal fan, he was also an eclectic fan of other musical genres. Kerry was a fan of several sports teams, the Yankees, Giants, Dolphins and Knicks.

Son of Eleanor C. Collins and John J. Murphy, Jr of Cromwell, CT, Kerry is survived by his sister Elizabeth C. Linthicum and his brother in-law, Roy Linthicum, both of Naperville, Illinois; his niece Norah Linthicum of Colorado; his brother John J. Murphy III of Middletown, Connecticut; cousins Bruce, Brian, and Chester Sperre as well as cousins Susan, John, and Tom Collins. He is also survived, and mourned, by his pet Beagle Humphrey.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2024 at Rose Hill Funeral Home, 580 Elm St., Rocky Hill, CT with Services to follow.
