Candice Lee Hinds Wing

Candice Lee "Candy" (Hinds) Wing, 47, of Scalise Drive, Columbia, wife of Ronald E. Wing, died on Thursday, (October 26, 2006) at Windham Community Memorial Hospital.
Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of June (McDonald) Caso-Hunt and the late John R. Hinds and lived in Cromwell most of her life.
She lived in Columbia for six months after moving from Cromwell, and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 478 in Hamden. She had a great love of life, devoting herself and opening her heart to any child or animal in need. Candice will be greatly missed by all those who loved her.
Besides her husband and her mother she is survived by four daughters, Amber N. Forbes of Meriden,
Chrystal Forbes Scott of North Richland Hills, TX, Melinda Tulloch of Columbia, and Allison M. Kilbride of Columbia; six brothers, Clifton J. Hinds of Middletown, Cony L. Caso of East Hampton, Edward L. Wingate of Columbia, Robert J. Hinds of Cromwell, Ronald R. Hinds and Donald B. Hinds of Cromwell; three sisters, Claudette J. Chateauneuf of Rocky Hill, Corie Caso-Diaz of Meriden, and Tammie M. Hinds of Cromwell; three grandchildren, Vincent A. Rawlings, Camryn R. Rawlings, and Mary-Jane E. Scott; her step mother, Sandra Hinds of Cromwell; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, she was predeceased by her step father Louis Caso.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 1st at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main
Street, Cromwell at 11 a.m. with the Rev. William Veinot officiating. Interment will be in East Cemetery, Cromwell. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, October 31 from 7-9 p.m. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.
