Thomas Morris
1957-2023

It is with broken hearts that we announce that Thomas Morris passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 19th. Tom was a friend to everyone, a mentor and father-figure to countless people and a devoted family man.

He will be forever remembered and loved by his wife, Susan; his sons, Jacob and Johnny, and his daughter, Jaimi Welch. He also leaves behind his siblings Kathryn (Morris) and Steven Springer, Deborah (Morris) and Paul Meissner, Victor Morris and Bridget Camp, Valerie (Morris) and Carl Kerby, Debra Morris and Gary Sullivan, and Donna Bhulai. Tom is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends who were like family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lucille Morris.

A native of Cromwell, Tom had a backstage pass and front row seat to see some of the greatest musical acts of our time. He spent a decade working as the front of house engineer at the West Hartford Ballroom, and would go on to work at countless venues, working audio for bands and singers that he would always tell incredible stories about. It's hard to find anyone who did not know and love Tom. He loved his family more than anything in the world. He raised his children teaching them important life lessons like the correct bagel to cream cheese ratio and how to do their taxes.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held with visiting hours on Wednesday, January 25th from 2pm-4pm at Rose Hill Funeral Home 580 Elm Street, Rocky Hill, CT. A service will immediately follow, starting at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation: https://gofund.me/cbe0b954
