Brian Kinney
1952-2016
Brian F. Kinney, 64, of Cromwell, beloved husband of 40 years to Maureen (Rogala) Kinney, was called to Heaven to serve as an angel, October 10, 2016 from UConn Medical Center; his wife and sister by his side holding his hand. He was born in Middletown, the son of the late, Graydon "Red" and Viola L. (Perham) Kinney.
Brian was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving with the U.S. Marines Corps. He graduated from Cromwell High School in 1971. He was an avid hunter and fisherman; he was a great fan of the Red Sox, Patriots and NASCAR. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and friend, who was loved by many.
Besides his wife, Maureen, Brian is survived by three sons, Brian J., Eric P., Raymond D., two sisters Sandy Tallman, Kathy Tripp, a granddaughter, Isabella Kinney a brother-in-law, who was more of a brother and friend, Al Rogala, and a sister in-law Karen Rogala, also several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, David Kinney.
Funeral services and military honors will be held Sunday October 16, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home 3 Silver Street Middletown.
