Marilyn Anne Geer, 52 of Columbia, SC died Saturday (Sept. 19, 1998) at Richland Memorial Hospital after a short illness. She was born in Middletown and raised in Cromwell. She graduated from Cromwell High School in 1963 and received a BA in Fine Arts from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY. She taught elementary school in Midwestern and Southern States for a number of years. She leaves her sister, Eileen (Geer) Branciforte of Cromwell; two brothers, David Geer of Roanoke, VI and Edward Geer of Hummelstown, PA as well as several neices, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral arrangements are at the conveinence of the family. There are no calling hours, Memorial donations in her honor may be made to Harvest Hope, 1021 George Rogers Blvd., Columbia, SC 29201.
