My mother Jeanne Franklin Lemire Cromwell high school class of 1962 sweetheart, and 1985 High school staff member died on April 2nd after fighting a 14 year battle with Dementia and a short illness that caused issues that led her to passing away. She left her best friend and son John Lemire who was with her to the end while she took last breath and her favorite grandson, Anthony John Lemire of Florida, who she still talked about and missed a lot. Her final words were I want to go see my husband to hug and kiss him. That was my cue that she wanted to go see the family on the other side. I followed her wishes and fought for her to save her as she asked but I wasn't going to let my mom best friend hero to suffer anymore So today she got her angel wings and now she can fly to heaven and join her husband as she requested. Mom you can never be replaced.
Jeanne was predeceased by her grandmother Jennie Dowling Franklin and grandfather Raymond Buzz Franklin who she was brought up by, and her Mother Marie Franklin and her father Raymond Franklin of Cromwell. She grew up on her Grandfather's farm back in the good old days. There will be no services for my mother as her wishes are being followed. She and husband Erwin Lemire will be buried in Cromwell Hillside Cemetery very soon.
