Charles Munson Burr III of Naples FL (formerly of Moodus, CT), beloved husband of Judith Burr, passed away peacefully on 9/28/25.

Born in Middletown, CT, on 11/17/1943, and the son of Charles M. and Elizabeth (McCutcheon) Burr Jr. Charlie was a proud American, who served 4 years in the U.S. Navy and was a well known property appraiser in the state of CT for over 30 years. Charlie cared most about his family and always found the good in all people. He loved "his pool" at GWE, collecting baseball caps from all the baseball parks they visited over the years and his ice cream!

Besides his wife, Judy, he is survived by his children: Rebekah, Lisa and Michelle Burr, Greg, Rob and Denise Soja and Lisa Turner. Grandchildren: Elliot, Erika, Todd, Shea, Ben and Maxi. Great-grandchildren: Elena and Ben. He was predeceased by his brother, John, and son, Tom. A graveside service will be held on 10/25/25, at 10:00AM at St. Bridget's of Kildare Cemetery, on North Moodus Rd., in Moodus, CT.
