Patricia Bedlack (80) passed away peacefully on May 27th, 2023 in Durham, NC. Born January 10th, 1943 to Frank Sr. and Marie Griswold, Pat lived her vibrant young life in Cromwell, CT with sisters, Lorraine Henderson, Deborah Lamar, and brother, Frank Jr.

Through hard work she ascended from bank teller to Vice President at Farmers and Mechanics Bank. She earned her college degree at night while working full-time and raising a family. Her humanitarian efforts included the Exchange Club of Middletown, Center for abused children, the Salvation Army Marine Corps Toy Drive, and Habitat for Humanity.

Spouse to Richard Bedlack Sr. (for 60 years), she retired to Naples, Florida, where her love of traveling the world and volunteering to help others continued. Mother to Dr. Richard Bedlack (m. Dr. Shelly Miller), Ronald Bedlack (m. Christy Bedlack), and grandmother to Ashton and Jocelyn; she will be remembered for being a great listener, and for all the love, laughs and smiles she shared with friends and family.

Sincere gratitude to The Hock Hospice facility and staff located in Durham. Always humble, she requested no services be held and suggested any donations be made to the Parkinson's Disease Research Fund (3919465) in support of Parkinson's research at Duke University.
