John M. Giuliano of Homestead, Fla., formerly of Cromwell, died Aug. 13, 2005 of complications from diabetes. He was 6l. He was born in Middletown Sept. 30, 1943, and lived most of his life in the area.
He received his bachelor and master degrees from Central CT State College, a sixth year certificate in administration from UCONN where he also studied for his Ph.D. in administration. He retired after 35 years from the Meriden school system where he was a teacher and later an administrator. His last position was assistant principal at Platt High School.
Survivors include his wife, Rose of Homestead, Fla.; a son, Christopher of Meriden; two sisters, Caroline Murphy and husband Robert of Venice, Fla, and Mary Faraci and husband William of Higganum; a brother, James Giuliano and wife Kathleen of Westborough, Mass.; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held in Homestead, Fla. at the convenience of the family.
