Working at Paul's and Sandy's Too and Ace Hardware, was more than just a job to him, it was an opportunity for him to meet and make long lasting friendships with so many wondering people from his local little town of East Hampton.
Besides his wife, Cheryl, of 55 years, he is survived by his daughter, Heather (Suarez) Spack, and her husband, Erick Suarez, of Marlborough. His son, Brian Spack, and his wife, Shannon Spack, of East Hampton. His three grandchildren, Mackenzie Rosano, Troy Hall Jr., Meaghan Hall. His two step-grandchildren, Leinad Suarez, Erick Suarez Jr., three step-great-grandchildren, as well as extended family such as nieces, nephews and cousins. Bob was predeceased by his sister, Linda Peters, of Florida.
Some of Bob's loves included NASCAR race day afternoons, quiet mornings on the ocean with a fishing pole in hand and the crack of a bat on a summer evening. Bob took pride in giving his time to the game of baseball and to the kids who played it. He was always fair behind the plate and firm in his calls. As the final inning ends, Bob has called "strike three" one last time and leaves the field with a life well-lived.
