William "Bill" Shoaf
1942 - 2015
William "Bill" P. Shoaf of Mount Dora, Florida passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at the age of 73 years with his beloved children Bill & Francine and his beloved sister Linda by his side. He was born in Hartford, Connecticut to the late William "Bill" E. Shoaf and Pauline (Oleski) Shoaf.
Bill was very athletic and won many weightlifting competitions during the 60's and 70's. Bill proudly served in the US Army during Vietnam. He was a retired welder from Pratt & Whitney aircraft engine manufacturers and loved classic cars and music. One of his favorite hobbies was working on classic cars with his best friends Kevin and Larry.
Bill is remembered and dearly missed by his son William P. Shoaf, Jr. and his wife, Marie and their two children, Jake and Zack of Fairfield, CT; daughter, Francine Nelson and her husband James and their son, Preston of Higganum, CT; sister, Linda Shoaf Blinn and her husband, Robert and their son, Bobby of Rocky Hill, CT. Memorial services will be held at the families convenience.
