John Haglund
1942 - 2018
John George Haglund died December 28, 2018 at his home in Middletown, Connecticut, following a long illness. He was 76. John was the son of George W. Haglund and Helen R. Magriby of Cromwell. John grew up in Cromwell with his brother James and sisters Christine and Judith. He attended Cromwell High School and served in the National Guard.
John will be remembered for his intelligence, charm, sense of humor, and unique storytelling talents. He is survived by three children, John P. Haglund of Cromwell, Jessica DeRita of Durham, and Christopher Kowaleski of Southington, as well as his grandchildren Paul, Peter, Tyler, Noah, Yokelvin, and Yokendry. A memorial for John will be held for family members in March.
