Audrey Ellsworth Bailey
1942 - 2012
Audrey Joan (Ellsworth) Bailey, born 1942, the daughter of the late Nellie and Clifford Ellsworth, passed away at her home in North Port, Fla. on July 4 after a long battle with cancer.
She is survived by her husband, Gary T. Bailey, a son, Michael Vespa, two grandsons, Michael and Matthew Vespa, a sister, Gladys Goodrich and a niece, Michele Jeffries and her fiancé, Mario Carrabbia, all of Cromwell. She is also survived by a niece, Denise Carbonell and husband, Ken, of Sanford, Maine.
Audrey was a Licensed Practical Nurse for many years at Brittany Farms Convalescent Home. Her passion was rescuing abandoned dogs and gardening. She ran the farmers daughter vegetable stand in Cromwelll for many summers.
A private service was held in North Port. Those who wish may make a donation to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Road, Newington, CT 06111.
