Jennifer Lalama Fake
1975 - 2021

Beloved wife mother daughter sister friend, Jennifer Marie Lalama Fake passed away on April 1st, 2021 at the age of 45 after a nine year courageous battle with cancer.

After graduating from Cromwell High School in 1993 Jenn took her adventurous spirit to Utah where she lived and perfected her snowboarding for two years. She then went on to sunny California for a year before traveling in her truck back to the east coast where she planted her roots next to the ocean in Mystic CT.

It was only fitting that in her favorite childhood place she met and married Todd Fake who shared her passion for the beach, swimming and the ocean. They built a life surrounded by many loving family members and friends who were always welcome in their home and on their adventures. People gravitated to Jenn because you felt so good when you were with her. She was honest and funny and told it to you straight. Every single person who knew her loved her including strangers she would meet which would often become lifelong friends. Jenn cared about you. Each of you. All of us. Because Jenn had the biggest heart. How lucky were we, to experience it.

Jennifer is survived by her husband Todd Fake, children Liza and Andrew Fake, parents Donna Kroll, Remo and AnnaMaria Lalama, sisters Lori Lalama DeVito and Angela Lalama Borges, in-laws Joyce Adamcewicz, Christopher and Pat Fake, Bernice Senkewitcz, Shawn and Shannon Fake, nephews Owen and Eli DeVito, nieces Isabelle Keplach-Fake and Ashlee and Kylee Fake and many friends who were like family.

Private services for family will be held Thursday, April 8, 2021. In lieu of flowers please donate to one of the following organizations which Jennifer was passionate about and advocated for.
