David Alan Peck, 49, of Cromwell, passed away on Monday (July 22, 2013) with his loving family by his side after a long illness. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Richard Peck of Cromwell and the late Rosita (Marti) Peck.

David lived in Cromwell all his life, was the owner of Peck's Painting, LLC for twenty-eight years and was a member of the First Congregational Church in Cromwell. He enjoyed boating, traveling, his motorcycle and many other activities and especially enjoyed spending time at Westbrook beach with his family, cousin Dani-Marie and friends.

Along with his father, Richard and his stepmother, Rosemary, David is survived by his two children, Carter and Jasmine Peck, both of Cromwell; two brothers, Gregory Peck and his wife, Felise of Kennesaw, GA and Richard A. Peck and his wife, Maria of Cromwell; his sister, Susan Graham of Brunswick, ME and his nieces and nephews, Michael Tabak, Shanan Graham, Kristen and Erik Peck, and Tyler and Jordan Peck.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 26 at 11 a.m. at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell with Rev. Douglas G. J. VanVeldhuisen officiating. Friends and family may call on Thursday evening from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home and in lieu of flowers, may make donations in David's memory to The ALS Association Connecticut Chapter, 4 Oxford Road, Unit D-4, Milford, CT 06460.
