Mark Gliwa, from the Vinal Class of 1979 died on Saturday, March 21, 1992. He was 32 years old and passed away from a rare form of brain cancer. His obituary was only published in the Middletown Press and The (New London) Day. He lived on Branch Hill Road in Ledyard, CT. At the time of his death, he worked for Northeast Utilities/Millstone 3 in Waterford, CT. He was a graduate of Hartford State Technical College. He left behind a wife (Debra Licht) and two children (Jessica & Scott) . He also leaves one grandchild, Madison Holder in Gastonia, NC and another one on the way, a boy that is due on January 7th. He's missed terribly even after 27 years but, his legacy lives on.
