Edward Varney

Edward A. Varney, 58, died Tuesday, October 2, 2018 in Baystate Medical Center. He was born in New Britain, CT, son of the late Walter and Velta (Sparins) Varney and has lived 10 years in Westfield, Massachusetts.
He liked to travel, race auto cross with his wife and enjoyed building train models. Edward served in the Army from 1978 to 1981.
He leaves his wife Candee Eve Varney, two sons Russell Burbank and James Varney, a daughter Heather Laitakari, two brothers Richard and Fred Varney, an Aunt Lidija Dearth, and two grandchildren Cyrus and Khyber Varney.
A committal service with Military Honors will take place Tuesday, October 9th at 2pm at the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA.
