Patrick J. "Guccie" Sergi, 52 of Joseph Pl. Wolcott died on Sunday at the Wolcott View Mannor Health Care . Born on March 17, 1958 in Middletown son of the late Samuel and Sophie (Morello) Sergi. Patrick had been a resident of Cromwell most of his life before moving to Wolcott.

A long time motorcycle riding enthusiast. He mostly enjoyed charity rides with his oldest brother Frank and two nephews Frank Jr. and Nick Jr. and good friend Raymond Colon. Patrick is survived by his loving family 3 brothers Frank Sergi of Florida, Nicholas Sergi of Middletown, Samuel Sergi Jr. of South Carolina; four sisters Kathleen Browning of South Carolina, Patricia Piotrowski of Cromwell, Diana Barber of Rocky Hill, Judy Sergi of California; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the First Congregational Church 355 Main St. Cromwell. Burial will be in the family plot in St. Sebastian Cemetery Middlefield. Friends may call at the Coughlin - Lastrina Funeral Home 491 High St. Middletown on Thursday morning from 9 - 10:30 a.m. Those who wish may make memorial donations to the American Cancer Society P.O.Box 188 North Haven, Ct. 06473.
