Don Pasculano
1953-2011
MERIDEN - Don Pasculano passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011 at MidState Medical Center after a brief illness. He was the husband of Mary Ann Pulcinella Pasculano.
Don was born on June 9, 1953 in Hartford, the son of the late Terri Sprague, of Rocky Hill and the late Dominic Pasculano, of East Hartford. Don was a salesman most currently with Syms, of Berlin. He was a graduate of Xavier H.S., attended Central Connecticut State College, and received an associate's degree from Middlesex Community College and a paralegal degree from Mattatuck Community College. He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church.
Don is survived by his sister, Sharon Abrahamson; sister-in-law, Jean Dufrat; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Vin and Kathy Pulcinella; nieces, Laura and Aldo Sirotic and family, Becky and Tom Butera and family; nephew, Eugene Dufrat; special dear friends, Sue and Tom Pallotta and family; cousins; and beloved cat, Dollie.
Don loved the Red Sox, watching the television show "Hard Ball," was an avid reader, loved studying different languages, had a passion for Italian food, and enjoyed brisk walks.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, Aug. 27, at 10:30 a.m. from the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 E. Main St., Meriden, and at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church for a Mass of Christian burial. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30 to10:30 a.m. prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492 or to St. Joseph School, 159 West Main St., Meriden, CT 06451.
His wife, Mary Ann would like to thank the staff at MidState Medical Center, Hartford Hospital, VNA, Hunter's Ambulance and all others that assisted him in his time of need.
