Daniel R. Asci, of Kent Court, Middletown, died Monday at home. He was 44.
He was a lifelong resident of the Cromwell/Midddletown area. He was a firefighter for Middletown and Cromwell for the past 17 years and was a member of St. Pius X Church, Middletown.
He is survived by his wife, June Vacca Asci; his parents, William O. and Eleanor Anderson Asci of Cromwell; a son, Jason Asci of Cromwell; a step-daughter, Jana Asci of Middletown and a brother, William A. Asci of Middletown.
Services will be held from the Doolittle Funeral Home, 14 Old Church St., Middletown, Thursday at 9 a.m. and at St. Pius X Church, Middletown, at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Sebastian Cemetery, Middletown. Calling hours will be at the Doolittle Funeral Home tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Hartford Transplant Center, Educational Fund, Hartford Hospital, 80 Seymour St., Hartford, CT 06115.
