Paul Kenneth Bower
1952-2001
Paul Kenneth Bower, 49, of South St. died Friday (October 26, 2001) at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown following a brief illness.
He was born September 26, 1952 in Hartford a son of Dorothy (Smith) Bower of Niantic and the late
John Bower. On January 14, 1994 he married Joette June (Amara) Bower at Bethany Lutheran Church in Cromwell.
Paul was a graduate of Vinal Regional Vocational Technical School in Middletown. He was the owner
and operator of Bower's Installation Service for over 30 years and loved doing home construction and remodeling. Paul enjoyed skiing and spending time with his family in Vermont. He most recently took up fly fishing. He loved to travel extensively with his wife, Joette. In addition to his loving wife, Joette and his mother, Dorothy he is also survived by a brother, Robert and wife, Janet Bower of Haddam and nephews, Ethan and Michael.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, November 2 at the St. John's Church, 5 St.
John's Ct. Rte 372, Cromwell. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul's memory may be made to the American Lung Assoc,, 45 Ash St., Hartford 06027 or to your local animal shelter. Church & Allen Funeral Home, Norwich is in charge of the arrangements.
