Marion Patricia (Fillmore) Oslander
Marion Patricia (Fillmore) Oslander, 91, life long resident of Cromwell passed away peacefully at home with family by her side Saturday, December 19. Born in Middletown to Harriet (Brush) and Clarence L. Fillmore, Pat attended schools in Cromwell and graduated from Middletown High School class of 1947.
During that time she met the man of her life and soon married. A few years later they started their family. Pat was known for her craftiness; she loved painting, sewing, antiquing and quilting as her home greatly displayed it, everywhere you looked had a memory of her creative crafts. She also was an employee of Sears for many years. During her later years Pat enjoyed doing ceramics at the Middletown Senior Center.
She was predeceased recently by her loving husband Nicholas Oslander SR, brothers Kenneth and Clarence Fillmore and sons Thomas and David (Miller).
She leaves her daughters Mary Oslander and wife Mary B. Rice, Lisa Delano and husband Mark and her sons Nicholas JR and James; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
During this time of Covid-19, we will look to have a memorial service for her in the spring. The family would like to extend their appreciation for the fantastic care that she received from caretaker Miss Veronica and the services that All Ways There Home Care provided, also all her neighbors keeping a faithful watch over them both.
We also send a very appreciative thanks to Bloomfield Hospice for the quick comforting care given to mom in her final days.
